Established 8 years ago, The Middle East Centre for Women's Rights is a charity organisation dedicated to exposing all forms of violence against Middle Eastern Women living in the UK and the Middle East. We aim to raise awareness about violations of women's rights as well as ending gender inequality and promote human rights for Middle Eastern women by providing a strong campaigning voice that will change and influence policies that affect them.

Combating Honour Based Violence Forum
This is a new forum established on 2006 hosted by MECWR to bring together representatives from women's and human rights organisations, refugee and community groups who are concerned about women at risk of “Honour” based violence in their communities.
We aim together to influence positive changes in policies and develop services for women at risk of "Honour" based violence. The forum continues to recruit new members.
